They are a rugged, fixed power optic with an etched reticle available in several configurations. The Sig Bravo line is composed of battle-ready optics meant to go from the box to your AR. These rugged optics offer fast acquisition and a clear picture of everything happening downrange. Regardless of whether you go with the 3x or 5x model, each is available with a reticle for 5. Just like the Bravo4the Bravo 3 and 5 have the MOTAC feature which automatically powers down the reticle illumination after 2 minutes of inactivity and turns it back on when moved.
Overall the Bravo3 and Bravo5 offer what you need to make accurate, consistent hits downrange at a great price. The rails on the top and sides offer mounting points for things like a red dot sight, spare batteries, or anything else you might be inclined to attach. The optic cleared my rear iron sight without an issue but I had to adjust the stock for the eye relief so I removed the BUIS but another option is to move it in front of the optic.
The adjustment clicks were consistent and easy to adjust after removing the caps. Zeroing the optic was a straightforward process and the reticle holds gave me solid hits on target. The Bravo3 and Bravo5 are excellent additions to the Bravo line and strong competitors for similarly priced fixed power battle sights.
They are built to perform at a reasonable price and with the larger field of view they stand apart from the crowd.
If you are in the market for your first optic or are looking to upgrade from a red dot to a magnified optic, these are a great option that is tough to beat. Hi, my name is Matt and I am a Gear Aficionado. I like trying out new gear whether it is a bag, a knife, an optic, or a firearm accessory. I want to know exactly what an item can and can't do or whether it's worth recommending or not. My friends may say I have a problem, but that doesn't stop them from asking for my feedback.

Let's take a look at the facts and features of the Bravo 3 before I break down my impressions. Ok, so the Bravo 3 is feature-laden. Not unexpected considering Sig's pedigree.
Some other prismatic low magnification optics tested recently seem to have a large dead zone around the view box. The Bravo 3 is edge-to-edge clean, which reduces the tendency of the shooter to focus through the optic at the expense of wider situational awareness.
The o-ring sealed turrets are neither finger-adjustable, nor wired to the optic. Two small features that I've come to love over the years. The adjustments however, are both tactile and audible. The illumination on the reticle gets very, very bright. No worries about being overpowered by a sunny day on this side of the Sahara. They do work just fine with night vision, in case an IR laser isn't available.
The reticle itself is effective. The horseshoe is big enough to grab the eye quickly, allowing for faster shots. Strangely, there is no manual for the Bravo 3, so I can't tell you what load the bullet drop compensation BDC is calibrated for. While I'd like to see finger-adjustable turrets and wire retention on the turret caps, consumers need to have information on the reticle to take full advantage of the design.
Don't let minor quibbles scare you off though, the Bravo 3 is a great offering with durability, battery longevity and excellent glass. Check it out!

Let the consumers have all the info they can before they decide what product meets their priorities best. Thanks for adding through-optic and reticle photos on this one, it makes a real difference to see what the sight picture is like in real-world case, as an additional point of data to the manufacturer-supplied photos.Remember Me?

I have an internal flaw can't even begin to pronounce or spell the name of it in my left eye that causes vertical lines to appear wavy. But you can imagine my concerns trying to determine what type of optic I should purchase.
I don't do well with red-dots even Aimpoints as the dot appears distorted. I don't like EOTech's holographic sights as the reticle appears fuzzy or blurry not well defined. High power scopes don't work sell for me. I think Burris was the first manufacture to introduce this scope and many of it's clones have been on the market for years. About the only thing unfavorable I've read about any of them is that their a little heavy compared to some alternatives. I don't think SIG actually manufactures and optics they've been putting their name on in recent years, not that it matters.

They are cosmetically slightly different from the manufacturers own line of products, but the architecture is the same. Both are fantastic quality, function well, and have good glass.
The holosun manufactured optic sits on an Ultimak rail and gets cooked and beat around on a regular basis. No malfunctions.

I cant confirm what fuel said, but have heard it repeated before, that they use the same chinese supplier, or manufacturer and its the same or very close to the same sharing many or most parts. Prisms are supposedly what you or I would want to look at, all other things being equal, same sort of mid level high value affordable name brand stuff, medium price go with a prism over holographic, or what ever the other technologies are. You might be able to go to the big box places and try a few out in person and easy your conscience you are not dropping for a blurry mess.8 bit sine wave table
My two medium low end priced vortex strikefire ii and primary arms are not a perfect dot, but I still find them very useful to get on targer quickly. The primary arms will be a squirrel slayer, so a little blue doesn't matter, I need the contrast in dark canopy of trees, so as long as I see three red dots close together its good enough for me at yards or less. I would be pissed if I spend and it looked like that to me. I only spent ish.

SIG SAUER Bravo 3 Prismatic Optic w/ .300 Blackout BDC – Review
Expert Review Excellent hard use optic. Really impressive optic that's ready to go from the box to your AR. Rugged housing, robust mount, capped turrets and pic rails for a spare battery, red dot sight, or any other accessory you want. Decent eye relief compared to many similar compact fixed power optics. Excellent clarity and field of view really set this optic apart. I liked the reticle, finding it useful but not cluttering.
While this optic won't win any competitions for looks, it is a winner in the categories that matter. After using all three they all have their benefits and are all five star scopes.
I write this review in the hopes that it will help others narrow down selection, but in my case I am keeping all three after using testing and comparing. I can't use normal red dots due to astigmatism and all three scopes mentioned solve that issue quite nicely. Both the Bravo3 and Spitfire3x have perfect crystal clear glass, adjustable diopter, identical magnification.
